HOLY TERROR in my opinion has to be one of the most underated bands of the Speed / Thrash Metal era. I just can’t understand how albums like "Terror And Submission" and "Mind Wars” didn’t get enough attention either from the media or fans themselves. The great guitar works from Kurt Kilfelt is outstanding, the MAIDENesque harmonies always were all over the place. But they were also something quite unique in the genre at that time, and that was Keith Deen’s melodic approach in handling the vocal duties. He could do almost anything vocal wise, something very rare in bands of that era. "Guardians Of The Netherworld" is a tribute to the Keith era and includes their 1986 demo and two live performances from 1987 and 1988 respectively. Don’t expect a clear sound or anything close to it, but it still does some justice to those who would love to have some piece of history (the live shows are basically tapetrading stuff from back then and probably were never intended for an official release, but they capture the raw energy of HOLY TERROR pretty good and also proof that Keith obviously loved to burp whenever possible ; -) – Frank). The CD comes with liner notes from Kurt himself. At this point it would be unfair to have bands like HEATHEN, AGENT STEEL, ABATTOIR in your collection and not having HOLY TERROR.
