After a good handful of demos and EPs, MORS SUBITA, this 5-piece Finnish hybrid of both melodic Death Metal and modern sounding Thrash Metal band, was finally landed a deal with Violent Journey Records – and I would say so deservingly even. I personally had never heard of this Finnish Metal band before (not so surprising as Finland is more known for its Metal bands nowadays than its thousands of lakes I would claim), but now that thing has gladly been corrected in my books. MORS SUBITA’s melodic and modern sounding – at times even teeny-weeny progressive Death / Thrash Metal is admittedly thoroughly really well played, following nicely some of strong traces, in which grooviness, very skillful and technical playing, sense for some true killer melodies, spot-on solo work – and everything else seem to meet other somewhat perfectly when it comes to making an album that has lots of true potential to open many other doors around the band. Sure thing, what MORS SUBITA represents musically, does not bring a new puppy to the big family any more, but it’s more like how they do it in order to sound so convincingly good and well prepared for taking the whole world by a fair storm warning that’s presented on their debut album, "Human Waste Compression". The guys have obviously taken their time to let their stuff ripen carefully at their dark basements, without having any rush to offer any delicious tidbits out of an incomplete, raw material they have had in their hands before entering to studio to record the actual album. And it has finely paid off for the guys: "Human Waste Compression" stands on its own strong feet convincingly, definitely proving to be one of those new Metal albums out there that will securely turn some heads to MORS SUBITA’s direction, sooner or later. MORS SUBITA can count on sailing on calm seas from now on – under canvas for favorable winds behind them, and just wait what’s gonna be ahead of them.  "Human Waste Compression" is honestly – and seriously speaking one of those most impressive debut albums I have heard for quite a while, showing off the band’s tremendous abilities as top-notch songwriters.
