Gasoline Veins
(self-financed)

You never get a second chance to make a first impression. And when I first time skipped through the songs of Swedish based PREACH I thought of young Metalcore Lemmy Kilmister wannabe teenagers trying to play like a real Metal band. But – fortunately! – every output is examined right down to last detail and just forget my impression. PREACH play Metal with, especially having the self-financed aspect in mind, an awesome punchy and high-octane sound. A sound that makes you (well, at least me) turning up the volume again and again. The solid basement of this output is the famous and glorious Swedish Melodic Death Metal, once established by IN FLAMES and DARK TRANQUILLITY. But there is more to discover on "Gasoline Veins". The song structures and lyrics tend into the live fast and die young direction, ten songs in 35 minutes and song titles like ‘Wolf Tank’ or ‘Gold Rush’ may give you a hint. And, besides the Melodic Death Metal riffing, there is plenty of Thrash Metal guitar work, just like on the latest THE CROWN release. So we have a mixture of Melodic Death Metal, Thrash Metal and Death’n’Roll. And this blend and its execution perfectly fits, for banging your head while driving way too fast or just lean back and enjoying the music.
