SLAUGHTER MESSIAH

This is a new EP from this Belgian band, that already has several releases on the market and is carving out a place within the underground scene. I imagine many of you already know them and have heard something from SLAUGHTER MESSIAH. They play Thrash / Black / Death Metal, very much in the style of old KREATOR and SODOM, with their sound closer to the former. This EP is divided into two parts: the first with three re-recorded old tracks and the second part with three live tracks (but the same songs – Frank). There’s little more I can say. Direct tracks, very much with a retro Thrash vibe and heavy Teutonic influence from the ’80s, although with a cleaner and updated sound, not just a mere copy with a dirty sound and that’s it. Perhaps live they sound a bit more Black Metal than in the studio. Good album. www.facebook.com/slaughtermessiah, www.facebook.com/hrrecords
