The Swedish masters of raw blackened Thrash are back with a new MCD and it is a really great release. Although the playing time is not that excessive, the four new songs, the fantastic cover of one of Sweden’s finest – GROTESQUE – and a dirty live version of ‘Ashes From A Past Life’ are altogether very driving, rousing Metal from fucking hell!!! No mid-tempo shit, no melodic fuck, just straight ahead speedy stuff, aggressive screams, memorable song structures and an old school feeling that summons memories of bands like good old MERCILESS. In my opinion SUICIDAL WINDS took a step ahead with this and the new songs are slightly better than their last full length “Victims In Blood”. Fans of SUICIDAL WINDS should be 100% sure to get this MCD and who does not know about that Swedish bunch of savages should find out now! “Crush Us With Fire” is excellent.
