TRIBE OF PAZUZU
King Of All Demons

“King Of All Demons” is the second EP released by the international all-star satanic band TRIBE OF PAZUZU. It contains five songs for almost 18 minutes of ultra professional blackened Death Metal in the vein of BEHEMOTH. TRIBE OF PAZUZU is formed by Nick Sagias on bass and vocals, Flo Mounier from CRYPTOPSY on drums, Randy Harris on guitars and John McEntee from INCANTATION on guitars and vocals. The production is polished and very clear with a very powerful drums and guitars sound. The highest point is for sure the drumming: fast, solid, brutal and technical; an ultra triggered blasting machine from start to finish with tons of rollings and killer double bass fills. The riffs are evil and get the best of both worlds: classic American Death Metal à la DEICIDE and European blackened Death Metal in the vein of BEHEMOTH and BELPHEGOR. The vocals are typical Death Metal growlings (not particuly deep and guttural) alternated with raucous screamings. There are some pretty good guitar solos too. Overall this is groovy Death Metal with a satanic Black touch. It’s not raw and not even brutal, but it’s catchy and pretty enjoyable. I’m not sure we needed a band like TRIBE OF PAZUZU, but without any doubt these guys know how to play Death Metal. In conclusion, if you’re into professional bands, this is a good addition to your collection. On the contrary, if you’re looking for more genuine, raw and underground bands, stay away from them. www.facebook.com/tribeofpazuzu, www.vicrecords.com
