It's also an effect of the fast food phenomenon...

Why would peoples invest themselves so hard, emotionally, and make many sacrifices, if it's to be clicked, and then deleted?

It's not motivating...

what really annoys me the most these days is the fact that everything has to be so highly professional: fanzines have to be printed on high glossy paper (preferable in full color) and bands are first and foremost judged by their technical abilities and how killer the production and / packing of their release is as opposed to the stuff in the 80s / early 90s when xeroxed FANzines ruled the underground, demo tapes were just copied from tape to tape with handdrawn (also xeroxed) simple b/w covers and stuff...

True words .... as for me the early eighties r my favorite ...
This also the time where i get my first gorgeous b/w fanzine in a5 format...hmm could not remeber exactly .. but im quite sure it was the Bloody Disaster fanzine..

unfortunately...not Confused
and to be honest.. i dont know how many fanzine we have done... also not how many copies from each fanzine ...

some words regarding the topic...and why music sucks today...
i agree to frank statement and... for me also a kind of overflow these day... you could have everything ..every time .. and for that reason you dont have this "treasure" feeling anymore...

another thing is that following newest trends ...became boring because... to find something new is very hard.. so what happens.. i fall back to my roots .. as many others before ...Laughing

best regards Jrg Wink

production seems a little too polished these days...too overproduced and mechanical sounding. thats my biggest problem with todays metal. having said that you almost have to follow suit when recording an album because it'll sound like you can't play your instruments properly if your not in 100% perfect time and not using triggers all over the place. too bad really...
