DEATHRONATION
A Soil Forsaken
(self-financed)

Ugh! Very raw indeed! DEATHRONATION from Nuremberg, Germany, celebrate Death Metal the old school (including the sound). They remind me of old heroes from the USA or – a little bit – of South America as both songwriting as well as err… everything sounds like from the early 90s. Even the demo comes on tape! There are even minor flaws in timing I wouldn’t have noticed if the band hadn’t pointed them out. This all results in an overall warm feeling in my stomach and a silly grin when listening to this recording. No real Übersongs on here (yet?) but definitely good for some crazy hopping moves across the sofa, spilling beer, breaking neck and stuff. "A Soil Forsaken" breathes sweat, beer and authenticity. There is one song available for download at their homepage – so check it out! Finally, as far as I remember, there is a second demo recorded already (I was d.a.m.n. slow with this review – sorry!!!), so if you order this demo, there might be more shit available already! www.deathronation.de
