Aaaarrrrggghhhhh… I’ve been waiting for this album so eagerly since their last opus "Merciless Hammer Of Lucifer" was released five years ago. In 2011 they released the fantastic EP "Conquerors Of Sodom" which was a really worthy appetizer and my expectations grew higher and higher. Finally Nuclear Winter Records unleashed this new masterpiece upon mankind and the result is worth every god damned second of waiting. "Feeding Hell’s Furnace" is an impressive demonstration of ultra-brutal and utterly diabolic and sadistic Death Metal… I’m sure most of our readers are familiar with DRAWN AND QUARTERED (if not you’re reading the wrong magazine) and know that this is one of the few Death Metal bands around that are able to create nearly the same dark, obscure and blasphemous atmosphere such as the infernal gods INCANTATION and IMMOLATION. Frankly spoken these Seattle based demons are the perfect bastard of those two bands and they truly deserve to sit on the Death Metal throne besides those legends on the peak of mount Olympus. All those wannabe hyper brutal frog noise, trigger plastic sound bands of today should listen to "Feeding Hell’s Furnace" to learn what true brutality is all about. Boys, forget the rest, this is the real shit! But with all the power and aggression DRAWN AND QUARTERED never loses sight of the song writing. Many bands are brutal but only a few are able to create significant songs. DRAWN AND QUARTERED definitely are able to write great songs. The collection of those ear shattering compositions on "Feeding Hell’s Furnace" absolutely proves that. Also the vocals and the production are over the top as well. This album just sounds so massive and the vocalist must be a blood gargling ghoul from hell. Hell yeah, that’s how Death Metal should sound. "Feeding Hell’s Furnace" is already the band’s sixth full-length release and in my humble opinion one of their best efforts so far.
