ETERNAL PAIN

This seven song promo cassette is a little taster of things to come… The entire material (which still needs to be mixed properly), plus seven more tunes will be featured on the band’s upcoming debut full length album "In Pain We Trust – Relicts For Revenge", to be released at the end of October 2002. ETERNAL PAIN are hailing from Germany and started out in 1996, back then covering a lot of old school Metal classics by RUNNING WILD, SODOM and TANKARD as well as material of the MISFITS. As the years went by they became more and more aggressive sounding, which already leads us to this little tape here. Their current musical direction could easily be described as thrashin’ Death Metal or deathly old school Thrash. Unlike many other bands within this genre, ETERNAL PAIN luckily seem to have the necessary feeling for it and never ever sound pathetic or retro. It seems to pay off now that they kind of grew up on and musically worshiped the above mentioned old acts in their early days. So, what you get now is the logical continuation from there, just with matured musicianship and songwriting qualities. Parts of the material remind me on early KREATOR ("Endless Pain" period), but with a more diverse writing style. Certainly not perfect yet, but highly motivated and blessed with the necessary dedication. If you’re interested in one of the last few copies of this promo tape, just send 2 Euro for postage and packing to: Sven Klaka, Mühlgasse 13a, 63654 Büdingen, Germany, email: Eternal-Pain@gmx.de
