The world is getting smaller day by day but bands like HUMILIATION from the Far East are still special in some way. The young band from Malaysia was founded in 2009 and it’s more than just a coincidence that the band photo shows four fellows wearing BOLT THROWER and BENEDICTION shirts. The band offers European style Death Metal with a good sound – recorded in Malaysia, mastered in the US – right between the above mentioned bands plus from the vocal side of life some old SINISTER influences. Small point of criticism are the missing high speed parts – seems that HUMILIATION want to bring their music on this level but when my head is starting to move they just slow down. The final track ‘Battlefield’ is furthermore more or less a cover song – because the song is ‘decorated’ with so many BOLT THROWER fragments that more than a knowing smile comes over my face (nevertheless a convincing track).
