The Pestilent Plague
(Necropolis Records)
40:45min

IN AETERNUM are back with their second longplayer entitled “The Pestilent Plague”. Musically and conceptually nothing has changed compared to the predecessor “Forever Blasphemy”. Still you get a furious combination of Death and Black Metal in the typical Swedish vein, but compared to most of their country mates IN AETERNUM sound way more aggressive, merciless and evil, so the best description in short for the music of this infernal three-piece is ‘DISSECTION meets Thrash Metal’. Also the brilliant cover artwork is done again by Kristian ‘Necrolord’ Wåhlin and “The Pestilent Plague” is also available in a magnificent gatefold vinyl edition released by German Merciless Records. Especially the LP is a must buy for all traditional deadbangers!
