Attention Grindcore maniacs! You don’t want to miss this one. Short but straight to the point split between CONFLICTO from Salvador and LACERATE from Costa Rica. CONFLICTO deliver four pure old school, raw sounding Grindcore tracks, not super tight and mechanical like many bands today, this is just pure ’90s Grindcore, so if you like ROT, PHOBIA and NAUSEA you will dig this. LACERATE from Costa Rica smashes through four politically charged tracks, they add more Death Metal heaviness and Hardcore madness to their Grind, some variations to the vocals and the riffs are more intricate, but they still sound very authentic and rough. This split suprised me in a very good way, I went to check out more stuff from both bands, they both have released albums and I encourage you to give them a spin if you like old school Grindcore.
