SEVERE TORTURE

2002 turns out to become quite a busy year for Dutch Death sickos SEVERE TORTURE: “Feasting On Blood” re-release, several festivals (e.g. ‘Fuck The Commerce’), “Butchery Of The Soul” mini CD, US tour, new album now and a tour with the CANNIBALs yet to come! On “Misanthropic Carnage” excellence keeps shining through all the time: although the album is absolutely brutal and straight in your face, there are numerous things going on in the drum department or cool bass licks (Patrick rules!) that raise SEVERE TORTURE on a higher level than those masses of tight and brutal Death Metal bands. This CD should be something for everybody into Death Metal: especially fans of pure mayhem should check out this CD, but those who get bored from 100% straight Death Metal (musicians) should be satisfied with this release as well. A nicely balanced album, nothing for whimps, though. And DON’T miss them on tour!
