SLAYER MAG
Issue # 18
(68 pages, A4, printed, in English)

I’m really glad that Metalion went for a more regular release schedule with SLAYER MAG, because he’s one of the last remaining Metal warriors out there, still sticking to the "old fashioned" way of putting out an uncommercial zine, printed on paper, in black and white! If I personally would have enough time, nerves and money, believe me, I immediately would turn VOICES back into that format as well again… But I don’t, so it’s cool that at least this Norwegian crazy fucker still supplies us with something to read while attending the shithouse ; -) There’s really no need to tell you any details about this newsest issue here, as SLAYER is still SLAYER (and that’s the way it should always be!). So, you luckily won’t have to face any major changes in terms of the layout, contents or whatever – it’s just another killer issue full of excellent M.E.T.A.L. extravangance!! To me this new one actually is his strongest to date (yeah, I know that I said the same about the previous issue, but what can I do if he continues to outdo himself all the time?!), considering the fact that a.o. interviews with incredible acts such as NASTY SAVAGE, HOBBS ANGEL OF DEATH (!!!), THE CHASM, PROTECTOR, ASSASSIN, INCUBUS (FL), DEATH ANGEL(!!), DARK ANGEL, DESASTER, USURPER, DEFLESHED, VIO-LENCE, Eric Peterson, DREAMS OF DAMNATION, SORTILEGE (!), VORTEX (!!), SCEPTER, HOLY MOSES and so on all made it into his unholy pages!!! A bunch of lessknown names as well as his typical "Metalion-style" reviews aren’t missing either, so all you have to do is make sure to send your 7 bucks immediately to the wellknown address in order to get yourself of a copy of this legendary publication: SLAYER MAG, c/o Metalion, P.O. Box 447, 1703 Sarpsborg, Norway, metalion@online.no
