DEATH‘s Live At The Whisky will be released in October. The album was recorded in Hollywood on their 1998 tour with HAMMERFALL. In addition to the CD, both DVD and VHS versions will be available. According to Nuclear Blast this will be the last release by Death.

On September 4th, watch for the Nuclear Blast Festivals 2000 DVD featuring live performances by HYPOCRISY, KATAKLYSM, CREMATORY and RAISE HELL.

TORI AMOS is set to release an album of covers, "Strange Little Girls", in September. Believe it or not she’ll include a cover of SLAYER’s classic ‘Raining Blood’.

While they’re still searching for a new singer, CRYPTOPSY are preparing for their upcoming Wacken performance and a European tour with VADER and DYING FETUS. Tours are also being planned for Japan and Australia. Check out the band’s website at: www.cryptopsy.net

The CANNIBAL CORPSE / KREATOR / KRISIUN / DISBELIEF tour kicks off on November 17th at the Mean Fiddler in London, England and wraps up on December 8th at the Sporthall in Athens, Greece

DIMMU BORGIR‘s next tour of the U.S. is planned to start around September 20th. The festival tour will also include SIX FEET UNDER, NAPALM DEATH and WITCHERY. There is a possibility that DARK FUNERAL will also join the tour. In related Dimmu news, the band’s Brazil concerts have been canceled. Brazil’s two largest promoters are fighting about booking bands and the "bigger" promoter booked SAVATAGE on the same weekend Dimmu Borgir was supposed to play.

In order to make the heaviest and most horrific NECROPHAGIA release ever, Killjoy has added another new member to the Necrophagia coven. Frediablo of GORELORD will be the second guitarist to accompany PANTERA’s Philip Anselmo in the writing of Harvest Ritual.

AGATHODAIMON are working with producer Kristian Kohlmannslehner in Germany on their next album, to be released through Nuclear Blast later this year.

THE ABYSS will release two classic albums, The Other Side and Summon The Beast, as a two-on-one limited edition digipak with revamped artwork. Both albums feature all three members of HYPOCRISY. The release is out on August 21st through Nuclear Blast.
