The Swedish duo AGGRESSIVE MUTILATOR is very busy in the underground scene, releasing demo after demo since their creation in 2012 and currently unleashed their demo number eight now, briefly after the cassette release of a full-length album and an EP with a bunch of songs in the last year. Their main style on this three track demo is still an ugly bastard between 80s Black Metal and 80s Thrash Metal, mixed with some Hardcore and Punk, worshipping older bands like VENOM, BATHORY or even POSSESSED. There seems to be a slight change of their direction, a bit more into Hardcore, what fits well into their overall concept. The vocals are still mainly caws, which puts them more into the DARKTHRONE proximity, but guitars and drumming surely have a Hardcore touch. The production is raw and unpolished, so do not expect any kind of a nice trip listening to their songs. But if bands like PEST, NIFELHEIM or BESTIAL MOCKERY are meeting your musical demands, I can recommend this hellish horde and their current output “Kill A Million”.
