PATHOGEN are a first time listen for me. It still blows me away that after being in the extreme Metal genres for over three decades I still manage to find great bands. Hailing from the Philippines, these maniacs have been exhuming their own form of putrid Death since 2001. A very extensive discography is available. This album and the sound on display is very reminiscent of band’s from the scene back in 1993. Acts like UNBOUNDED TERROR, MORPHEUS DESCENDS, KILLING ADDICTIO etc are huge influences with these compositions. Fans of old school Death Metal have come to an authentic and genuine source for the best of the new Death Metal revival happening.
