Metal Anarchy

"Metal Anarchy" is the recording that really saw North East England based Metal / Punk Crossover pioneers WARFARE perfecting their explosive mix of Speed Metal and raw abrasive Punk and this album is in this writers opinion the highlight of their 80s release catalogue. Punked up tempos clash full force with sharp thrashy riffing with Evo’s powerful percussion and vicious vitriolic vocal assault leading the charge, spitting out his lyrics with two fingers in the air. The classic title track is like an abrasive anarchic battle cry and call to arms, bursting out of the speakers with defiance and devastation and is one of the best examples of Speed Metal and Punk crossing over. WARFARE deliver unapologetic dirty destructive musical mayhem which is dripping in pure filth and fury and is about as polished as a dirty combat boot. But that is the whole point, such music was never meant to sound clean and calm, it is meant to be chaotic and crusty. The production job of a certain Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister suits the MOTÖRcharged mayhemic aural assault of WARFARE perfectly. Metal / Punk perfection! One for fans of MOTÖRHEAD, early VENOM, G.B.H., TANK etc. All additional info at: www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100010703193337, www.dissonanceproductions.co.uk
