This is just great! After the well done re-issues of CELTIC FROST’s legendary back catalogue, Noise Records are celebrating KREATOR’s 15th band anniversary with some more essential re-releases. Three of Thrash Metal’s most important albums, namely "Endless Pain", "Pleasure To Kill" and "Terrible Certainty", got currently re-mastered, re-packaged and re-released with several extra tracks. The rather primitive, yet very entertaining KREATOR debut "Endless Pain" not only has all the lyrics, amusing vintage pictures and liner notes from mainman Mille Petrozza, it also features the classic TORMENTOR (pre-KREATOR) demo "End Of The World" now (for the first time officially on CD)!! It is 1986’s milestone and eternal classic "Pleasure To Kill" comes up with the three tracks off their "Flag Of Hate" EP, which already were used on the original "Pleasure To Kill" CD. So, the only difference here is the booklet, which has the original album – and EP pics, lyrics (unfortunately not the EP lyrics though) and also the "Flag Of Hate" cover art. "Terrible Certainty" from 1987 features five bonus tracks, all from 1988’s "Out Of The Dark" EP, which originally came out on a separate CD. Lyrics (once again unfortunately for "Terrible Certainty" exclusively), liner notes and pics, as well as the "Out Of The Dark" cover art were added to this one. It sells here. So, if you didn’t own these classics on CD yet this is certainly the right time to go for ’em! If you should prefer a compilation of old KREATOR classics instead, then pick up "Past Life Trauma" (available here), which also just saw the light of day. The album features a total of 18 tracks, covering KREATOR’s best periods, starting from "Endless Pain" up till "Renewal", has three exclusive (yet unnecessary) material off the rather weak "Renewal" and f.i.n.a.l.l.y. (with its CD premiere) comes up with an almost forgotten jewel: ‘After The Attack’, an old KREATOR recording that originally was used for the rare "Pleasure To Kill" vinyl picture disc back then! I would already have spend the money for this song alone (even though a re-release on "Pleasure To Kill" would’ve been a little nicer)! Liner notes to each song, lots of old pics, all lyrics and another great Marshall cover art complete the picture here.
